डॉ राधाकृष्णन का मानना था कि “शिक्षकों को देश में सबसे अच्छा दिमाग होना चाहिए”। इस दिन, हम महान शिक्षाविद् को याद करते हैं, इसके अलावा उन सभी प्रशिक्षकों का निरीक्षण करते हैं जिन्होंने हमारे जीवन को बहुत अधिक ज्ञानवान और पूर्ण बनाया है, प्रकाश के हमारे बीकन के रूप में सेवा कर रहे हैं।

यह उनके दोस्तों के जन्मदिन के जश्न की इच्छा के जवाब में डॉ। राधाकृष्णन ने कहा कि 5 सितंबर को शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है, तो यह मेरा गर्व का सौभाग्य होगा।

उसके बाद डॉ। राधाकृष्णन के जन्मदिन को भारत में शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
