Uttar Pradesh Government Increases Dearness Allowance For State Employees To Sixty Three Percent

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister <b>Yogi Adityanath</b>, has increased the Dearness Allowance for state government employees to <b>63 per cent</b>, effective from <b>July 1, 2026</b>. The revised allowance will be paid along with the November salary, providing financial relief to lakhs of employees across the state ahead of Diwali celebrations. The official announcement confirmed that arrears from July to October 2026 will be credited directly into the employees' provident fund accounts, benefiting aided institutions and local bodies.
