Tragic Roof Collapse Claims Three Lives Including Infant in Kanpur on Diwali

A tragic roof collapse in Kanpur's <b>Panki Padaav</b> area on Diwali morning claimed the lives of three family members. The incident occurred in a 35-year-old ancestral house when a mud room roof made of bamboo supports caved in. <b>Vinodni Shukla</b>, along with her daughter-in-law <b>Anshika Shukla</b> and 20-day-old grandson <b>Aarav</b>, lost their lives after being trapped under the debris. Anshika was breastfeeding the infant at the time and reportedly tried to protect him. <b>Harsh Shukla</b> survived the accident with minor injuries, while other family members were in a different room. Authorities are investigating the collapse, which was allegedly caused by water seepage, and postmortems have been conducted.
