Telangana: Supreme Court settles 32-year legal battle over 550 acres of land

The Supreme Court of India ruled in favour of the <b>Telangana</b> government on October 29, 2026, granting control over land spread across <b>550 acres</b> and 39 guntas in Miyapur Village. This verdict successfully brings to a close a 32-year legal battle and settles a 114-year-old saga of a royal gift tied to historic jagir deeds in the state. The reclaimed property, located in Serilingampally Mandal of Ranga Reddy district, is valued at over <b>₹55,000 crores</b> according to the official report.
