RJD's Anil Jha beats BJP's Sarvesh Kumar in Darbhanga; BJP meets Amit Shah Lucknow

RJD’s Anil Jha beat BJP’s Sarvesh Kumar in the Darbhanga graduate seat as the BJP prepares for a state committee meeting in Lucknow on Oct 30 with Home Minister Amit Shah. The result highlights Bihar’s electorate frustration with promises that rarely materialise, while the Lucknow gathering shows the party’s dependence on high‑profile rallies to distract from administrative delays and opaque decision‑making. Voters in Darbhanga still hope the result translates into tangible change, not just campaign rhetoric.
