Raipur: High-tech holding areas set up at railway stations to prevent stampedes

To prevent chaos and stampedes during the festive season rush, railways have set up high-tech holding areas at <b>Raipur</b>, Durg, and Bhilai Power House railway stations as per recent reports. These specially prepared holding areas feature seating arrangements for <b>400</b> passengers along with in-house food, ticket facilities through mobile UTS, and medical arrangements for travelers. Officials stated that these high-tech zones are monitored by <b>153</b> CCTV cameras to ensure passenger safety and smooth movement during heavy festival crowds.
