Punjab Govt Raises DA To 221% For 6507 Computer Teachers Ahead Of Diwali

Punjab Chief Minister <b>Bhagwant Mann</b> has announced a significant increase in the Dearness Allowance for <b>6,507</b> computer teachers under the Punjab ICT Education Society ahead of Diwali. The Dearness Allowance has been raised from 181 per cent to <b>221 per cent</b>, marking a notable 40-percentage-point hike for the educators across the state. This announcement was made alongside salary-related benefits for 1,007 non-teaching employees under Samagra Shiksha, whose services were recently regularised by the administration.
