PM Modi Calls End To Maoist Terror A Victory Of Strong Political Will

Prime Minister <b>Narendra Modi</b> stated on Sunday, November 8, 2026, that the end of Maoist terror is a victory of right policies and strong political will. He made these remarks while celebrating Diwali with security personnel at a CRPF camp in Chhattisgarh’s <b>Bastar</b> district. Mr. Modi highlighted that government decisions dealt major blows to funding for Maoists and secessionists by destroying the fake currency nexus and choking supply lines. He noted that Naxalism once affected more than 230 districts across nearly 20 states, making the fight extremely difficult. Furthermore, he mentioned that for the first time in 47 years, not a single CRPF jawan lost his life in the line of duty over the past year.
