Hooghly: Minor Girl Allegedly Throws Newborn Out Of Nursing Home Window

A <b>16-year-old</b> girl allegedly gave birth in a nursing home toilet in West Bengal's Hooghly district on Saturday. Police stated that the minor was brought to the Uttarpara Municipality facility late Friday night by her family after complaining of severe abdominal pain. The incident occurred in the early hours of the following morning. According to a senior officer of the Uttarpara police station, the girl went to the washroom on Saturday morning as her pain intensified. She delivered the baby without any assistance. Nursing home authorities claimed that the minor allegedly threw the newborn out through the washroom window immediately after the delivery. The newborn died as a result of the fall, police confirmed The matter is currently under investigation by local authorities.
