Commuters in the national capital will soon experience significantly reduced travel times as the Delhi Metro Golden Line is projected to connect Sangam Vihar to Indira Gandhi International Airport and Aerocity in just 50 minutes. The infrastructure project aims to streamline connectivity across key transit hubs and ease daily traffic congestion for thousands of commuters. Providing updates on ongoing metro expansion projects, authorities noted that the Janakpuri West to RK Ashram corridor on the Magenta Line extension has also achieved significant progress, reaching roughly 87.62 percent completion with only 12 percent of the construction work remaining. With civil works advancing steadily, officials expect the remaining infrastructure development for these vital transit corridors to wrap up by next year, paving the way for seamless urban mobility.
