The Central Board of Secondary Education has managed to confuse students and educators alike by revising its Class 9 scheme a whopping six times in just seven months between April 2 and October 29. Educational reforms are welcome, but treating a board curriculum like a draft on Google Docs defeats the entire purpose of stability. Successive changes to policies, including the flip-flops on the three-language policy, show an administrative system that clearly lacks a concrete blueprint before rolling out decisions. Constant last-minute circular updates only pile unnecessary stress on impressionable students and harried teachers trying to keep up with the moving goalposts.
