Air Force Sarang Team dazzles crowds on Chhattisgarh Foundation Day celebrations

The Indian Air Force’s elite Sarang aerobatic team performed a high‑altitude display on Chhattisgarh Foundation Day in Raipur on September 1, thrilling thousands gathered at the stadium. While the spectacle costs crores, the state still struggles with power cuts, pothole‑riddled roads and delayed hospital upgrades, highlighting a glaring mismatch between flashy PR stunts and everyday hardships faced by wage earners. For the common citizen, the money spent on fireworks could have funded reliable electricity, so the show feels like a hollow promise of progress.
